I love sharing knowledge on essential oils and their wide array of health benefits. It is also imperative that users beware of the cautions and warnings printed on the bottles. Essential oils are quite powerful and very healing but they can be harmful when used without discretion. Many people lack the proper education on these healing tools and then begin use before they’ve read any literature on the possibility of misuse or overuse. Please take the necessary time to research those oils you’re planning to use before applying to yourself or a loved one. And remember these are concentrated forms of natural substances therefore very strong. However, when used in proper dosages certain essential oils can deliver huge relief to people who may be in special or vulnerable circumstances. My blog today covers a combination of Ginger essential oil and Spearmint essential oil. These two are known antispasmodics and make for an incredible morning sickness blend. While many people question the safety of essential oils during pregnancy both Ginger and Spearmint have been shown to safely deliver relief when used with caution on pregnant woman. That being said, should you have ever suffered a negative reaction from either of these compounds it would be wise to avoid use until after the pregnancy, if at all. Still, I can attest to the immense relief provided by this blend as I used both of these oils during my pregnancy with my son. I slept alongside a bowlful of water and Spearmint essential oil after hearing an old wives tale and shockingly awoke the next day able to get out of bed without the slightest tinge of disease. Ginger tea was a daily ritual and I would never have been able to continue my work during that first trimester had it not been for that spicy beverage. Both of these ingredients help relax the stomach and intestines so that you do not feel such a strong urge to purge. Ginger helps to warm the body and increase circulation while Spearmint promotes clear breathing and a refreshing state of mind. I know just how hard it can be to go about the simplest of daily tasks when burdened by nausea while pregnant and I can promise this combination can and will help lift that load. Please give us a visit if you’re feeling the need for some relief from morning sickness. Not only do we offer a wide variety of essential oils we also provide services from therapists who specialize in prenatal massage. Allow yourself to be pampered during this special and fatigued time in your life; not only will your body thank you but so will your bundle of joy!
